I cite the case of relatives who make a claim because I undertake to make representations on their behalf to believe some allowance, ex gratia, is deserved and I recommend the case.
From the letters from a Civil List Pensioner, I have found that they have been relieved. I understand that the two are not entitled to apply, but they appear to have been in a deserving state.
When I wrote this, I have not been able to ascertain whether there is any such possibility. As I said, I hope the case is a deserving one.
